Democrats Ramming Through Anti-Family Bills
More abortions, weakening parents' rights, homosexuality trampling others' rights
Sacramento, California -- Fathers and mothers in California stand to lose more of their rights due to the the anti-family agenda of Democrat lawmakers, says SaveCalifornia.com, a leading family issues organization that promotes moral values for the common good.
On August 22, the Senate Democrats powered through AB 2109, which would result in healthy boys and girls being forcibly vaccinated, despite their parents' objections. This bill weakens parents' rights, whether their children are in public, private or home schools, by oppressing parents who object.
On August 23, the Assembly Democrats pushed through SB 623, which would reauthorize certain nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse mid-wives to subject pre-born babies to deadly abortions.
Awaiting votes on the Assembly floor are more Democrat-authored bills that attack and redefine the family. SB 1172 prohibits parents from seeking counseling for gender-confused children, who are frequently the victims of molestation or rape. And SB 1476 explodes the definition of family by allowing a child to have three, four or more legal "parents."
"Do people know what they're getting from the Democrats who control the California Legislature?" asked Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com . "Democrats pushing these anti-family bills in a hot election season can only mean they think voters don't care or don't know what's going on. Does Jerry Brown support these radical bills too?"
The legislative deadline for all bills to pass is August 31.
